Premier League Predictions: 20/09/14

Looking forward to this weekend’s action – especially Sunday’s mouth-watering clash between the sides I expect to be occupying the top two spots come the end of the season (nota bene, I’m talking about Chelsea and Manchester City, not Everton and Crystal Palace). Also delighted to see my beloved Leeds finally pick up some form under caretaker gaffer Neil Redfearn – hope it continues against Huddersfield tomorrow. Anyway, here are my predictions for the weekend’s top flight games . . .

Queens Park Rangers 1 – 1 Stoke City *
Aston Villa 1 – 2 Arsenal *
Burnley 0 – 2 Sunderland
Newcastle 1 – 1 Hull City *
Swansea City 0 – 1 Southampton ***
West Ham United 1 – 3 Liverpool

Leicester City 0 – 2 Manchester United
Tottenham Hotspur 3 – 0 West Bromwich Albion
Everton 3 – 1 Crystal Palace
Manchester City 0 – 1 Chelsea

Fingers crossed – bidding to sneak into the lead over Merse this weekend!

The verdict . . .

Leicester to win a shock 2-1 win! 😉 Nice predictions. I have to predict a draw in the standout fixture, City v Chelsea though.

Yeah, it was a tough call in the big one – I was either thinking a draw or Chelsea to sneak it, and decided to opt for the latter. Naturally, being a Leeds fan, I hope Leicester do bag the three points against Man U!

  3. A.Y. Marsh says:

Well, you got your wish then – well done Leicester! Watched it live, was bloody brilliant. Thought I was looking good for 1 – 0 to Chelsea, and then who should pop with the equaliser but Frank Lampard?! You couldn’t make it up.
