Premier League Predictions: 29/11/14

So, I was rubbish again last weekend – but luckily, Merse was even more rubbish! I can close the gap to just 1 if I can best him again . . . here goes:

Saturday

West Bromwich Albion 1 – 1 Arsenal
Burnley 0 – 0 Aston Villa *
Liverpool 2 – 2 Stoke City
Manchester United 3 – 1 Hull City *
Swansea City 1 – 0 Crystal Palace
West Ham United 1 – 2 Newcastle United
Sunderland 0 – 3 Chelsea

Sunday

Southampton 1 – 2 Manchester City *
Tottenham Hotspur 0 – 2 Everton

Hope Southampton prove me wrong and get a result against City!

The verdict . . .

Me:

Results forecast: 30%
STAR: 6%

Merse:

Results forecast: 50%
STAR: 12%

Pretty decisive this time. Have to bounce back in midweek!

As it stands: Merse 8 – 5 Me

Good set of predictions there, can’t really fault any of them. And that’s coming from an arsenal fan, we’ll definitely concede today. Hoping for a win though 😁

Thanks! The Arsenal game is a tough one to call. I’m expecting someone to get a major backlash from them, but maybe not today. I think West Brom will probably put up a dogged and resilient display, so I’m going for the draw.

Haha could of ended 1-1! Thats arsenal for you, can never make an arsenal fan feel at ease, ever. Well in 2004, when I was bloody 8.
What do you think about the banners telling Wenger to say goodbye today??

  2. A.Y. Marsh says:

I don’t know, maybe it is time for him to step down – although it would be difficult to imagine Arsenal without him! I think they’ll qualify for the Champs League again, but will Arsenal fans be happy with that, or does he need to win a trophy again as well? This is a good article on the subject (though maybe a bit over the top!): http://www.football365.com/john-nicholson/9577616/Stop-Being-So-Sodding-Grateful
